KIESERLING FOUNDATION SUPPORTS INTERNATIONAL »LOGMS 2012« CONFERENCE

The second International Conference on Logistics and Maritime Systems takes place in Bremen between 22 and 24 August 2012. The aim of this event is to provide a forum for participants from universities and associated industries to exchange ideas regarding the latest developments in the fields of logistics and maritime systems. The entire conference is organised by Hans-Otto Günther (TU Berlin, Germany), Kap-Hwan Kim (Pusan National University, Korea) and Herbert Kopfer (Bremen University).

As part of the LOGMS 2012 conference, the Institute for Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL) and the Forum for Next Logistics Technology (NELT) are co-organising a Special Industrial Session entitled “Future Logistics Technologies”. This will take place on 23 August 2012 and its aim is to inform companies in the maritime markets about current research trends and projects relating to future logistics technologies. System optimisation, security and sustainability will be key areas of focus.
