MARITIME CONFERENCE 2012



On 25 and 26 September 2012, the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL) is continuing its ISL Maritime Conference series of events in Bremen with a conference entitled “Shipping, ports, hinterland – strategies & markets in autumn 2012”.

With speakers from the business, scientific and political world, the current situation in the shipping markets will be analysed over four sessions. The debate will focus on the outlook, strategies and trends in the key maritime industries and markets.

The planned areas of focus are:

  • The situation in the shipping markets – a silver lining on the horizon?
  • Outlook and strategies for maritime supply chains and ship financing
  • Visions and strategies for new markets and regional clusters
  • Green and secure transport chains – competition factor for the maritime economy
